Listen to the News

The weekly BDAN news programme is available for free via this page. Audio can be streamed or saved via a computer or mobile phone with web access.

You don't have to be offically listed as one of the charity's listeners. However, if you are not partially sighted, why not do one or more of the following:

a) Tell friends, family, neighbours and colleagues about BDAN

b) Consider donating to the charity

c) Consider volunteering with BDAN

Partially sighted, blind or those who qualify to take BDAN material by post for free, but choose to access content via this site, are still advised to register with the charity. Among other things, this will mean that a listener's birthday can be mentioned on the appropriate week.

USB memory sticks are now available too (these digital devices are sometimes known as pen, thumb, flash or memory drives).
BDAN can loan memory stick players to listeners, for free

Recordings are made on a Thursday evening

BDAN aims to upload the latest news within 36 hours

The most recent programme is shown first

Files are available for 12 weeks from the date shown

Recordings are in stereo and saved to mp3 format

If you have a problem accessing the files using a computer, try using the other mouse / touch pad button and Save Target As. Once downloaded, click on Open in the pop-up window.
